Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging system capable of reducing degradation in resolution of a peripheral part due to oblique entering of a radiation ray.SOLUTION: The radiation imaging system includes a laminated scintillator 102 comprising a plurality of scintillator layers (104-106), a photodetector array 103 that detects a ray from the laminated scintillator, and image processing means that uses a result of detection by the photodetector array to obtain information on a radiation image. The plurality of scintillator layers are laminated in a normal direction of a light-receiving surface of the photodetector array, and emit scintillation light of wavelengths different from each other. The photodetector array is capable of discriminating and detecting the scintillation light from the laminated scintillator. The image processing means acquires information on a radiation image by subjecting the detection results discriminated by the photodetector array to correction according to an incident angle of the radiation, and superposing the detection results with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
