Title:
RADIATION-RAY MEASUREMENT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015010837
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, light-weight and easily manufacturable radiation-ray measurement device that measures intensity of a neutron under an environment high in a gamma-ray dose.SOLUTION: A radiation-ray measurement device comprises: a photostimulable phosphor sensor 101 that detects a radiation ray including a neutron 202; a laser light source 3 that irradiates the photostimulable phosphor sensor 101 with stimulus light via optical fibers 7a and 7c; a reception part 4 that receives an optical signal to be discharged from the photostimulable phosphor sensor 101; and a measurement process part 6 that measures the optical signal received by the reception part 4. The photostimulable phosphor sensor 101, in which a neutron converter material and a photostimulable phosphor material are combined, is adapted to combine the neutron converter material and the photostimulable phosphor material at a ratio where detection efficiency of the neutron 202 is higher than detection efficiency of a gamma-ray 201.
