Abstract:
To provide a radiation shield device, surely protecting an operator from X-rays scattering in three dimensions.
This radiation shield device used in medical treatment and examination in CT (Computer Tomographic) radioscopy includes: a plate-like X-ray shielding base part 3 provided on a bed of an X-ray CT apparatus and having an edge substantially parallel to the body axis of a subject; an X-ray shielding cover part 2 constructed like an arch on each edge 3c, 3c of the X-ray shielding base part 3; and a spacer 4 interposed between the X-ray shielding base part 3 and the subject.
