Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a radiation type heating apparatus of which radiation member does not drop downwardly even if a dropping striking force is applied to it by a method wherein the radiation member is provided with through-holes, a front end piece formed at a front end of a ceiling of a thermal collecting hood is provided with a projecting piece for supporting the radiation member inserted into the through- hole and placed at an end part bent inwardly of a top plate and with a pushing piece for pushing the radiation member against the end part of the top plate.

CONSTITUTION: A radiation member 17 has a through-hole 22. In turn, a hood 20 is made such that a front end of a ceiling part 20b is extended slant and downwardly to form a front end piece 23. The front end piece 23 is provided with a projecting piece 23a inserted into the through-hole 22, riding on an end part 24 of a top plate 16 and supporting the radiation member 17, and with a pushing piece 23b for pushing the radiation member 17 against an end surface of an end part 24 of the top plate 16 integral with both sides of the projecting piece 23b. With such an arrangement, it is possible to prevent any spattering sound generated at a thermal shrinking time or an excessive stress for a hood side surface 20b (a radiation member fixing part) generated at the time of thermal expansion. Thus, it is possible to prevent the radiation member 17 from being dropped off even if a dropping striking force is applied.
