Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the weight and the cost of a radiator by reducing the length of air ducts and a cooling water hose while keeping the excellent soundness of the radiator.
CONSTITUTION: In a scooter type motorcycle where a water-cooled type unit swing type engine 4 is suspended by cycle body frames 7, 9, 9A, the radiator 24 is mounted on the cycle frame appropriately immediately above a crankshaft 17 in the unit-swing type engine, and a cooling fan 30 mounted on one end of the crankshaft is connected to the radiator through air ducts 32, 33.
