Abstract:

To provide a radio access scheme discriminating method capable of shortening a delay time, and to provide a radio communication system.

The radio access scheme discriminating method in a radio communication system including at least one base station 20a, 20b capable of performing communication by at least one of two or more radio communication schemes, and at least one mobile station 10 capable of performing communication by two or more radio access systems, wherein known signal series (DL, RS) transmitted from a base station are associated with radio access schemes used for communication with the base station, and the mobile station 10 receives the known signal series from the base station (step 1) and discriminates the radio access scheme of the base station from the known signal series (step 1A).
