Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio automatic meter reading unit that enables a radio communication unit to restrain battery consumption more than expected due to deterioration in a communication environment and thereby to prevent emergency shutdown which is a safety function from becoming inoperable due to shortage of a battery residual.SOLUTION: A radio automatic meter reading unit includes: a computation unit 40 for calculating a power consumption value W of a radio communication unit 30 on the basis of a communication state parameter; and a determination unit 50 for comparing a calculation result at the computation unit 40 with a setting threshold value Wa stored in a storage unit 60 and for making a determination. A control unit 70 stops a communication function of the radio communication unit 30 on the basis of a determination result at the determination unit 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
