PURPOSE: To make an emphatic display so that not all, but some of message data are made conspicuous at need by the radio code receiver having a display which converts the message data into character representation and displays characters.

CONSTITUTION: The message data which are received and demodulated by a receiver 32 and decoded by a decoder 34 are stored in a storage means 37. The message data in the storage means 37 are called by operating an input key means 38 and converted into corresponding characters, which are displayed on the display 50 through a driver 41 under the control of a display control means 36. At this time, a specifying means 55 determines part of the message data as specific data and informs the display control means 36 of that. The display control means 36 displays the indicated specific data part on the display 50 distinctively from other data parts.
