To provide an antenna structure in a radio communication apparatus which allows the width of a flexible wiring board between circuit boards in an upper and lower frames to be increased enough to deal with the increase of the number of wirings on the circuit boards and may be thinned.
The radio communication apparatus comprises an upper and lower frames mutually turnably joined through a hinge; a first circuit board mounting first electronic components; a second circuit board mounting second electronic components; a connection part for electrically interconnecting the first and second circuit boards; and antenna contained in the lower frame. An antenna feeder for feeding the antenna with an operating current from the second circuit board is located at a position apart from the center of the hinge side end of the second circuit board to the connection part along the hinge axis. A feed terminal and a ground terminal of the antenna are laid with the antenna base extended along the hinge axis to contact the antenna feeder.
