The radio communication device receives a radio signal transmitted from another radio communication device, and transfers the received radio signal through the radio communication network. To transmit a status supervision signal indicative of the self-device status, the radio communication device selects a time for status supervision signal transmission from among a plurality of time settings capable of transmitting the status supervision signal in a predetermined second period (T2), using a random number, to transmit after the lapse of the selected time.
