In a radio communication device which performs radio communication based on an electromagnetic connection between coils, the radio communication device comprises a circuit section 300 in which a coil 303 and a capacitor 302 are connected with each other in series, and a control section 310 which applies voltage to the circuit section 300 and controls a voltage signal applied to the coils 303 so that the transmission signal corresponding to the information transmitted by the radio communication is supplied. The control section 310 supplies a rectangular wave of a natural resonant frequency to be determined by the coil 303 and capacitor 302 to the circuit section 300 as a transmission signal.
