Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a local oscillation signal of an extremely small phase noise without taking any complicated and exaggerated countermeasure and also to restore the detected fault of a reference signal without affecting a system under operation.
CONSTITUTION: Each radio part is provided with a reference signal PLL 100 which consists of a phase comparator loop filter, a voltage control crystal oscillator and a fixed frequency divider. A signal which is free from the noise having the frequency component approximate to the frequency added to a reference signal is defined as the reference signal of each of local oscillation PLL 110, 120 and 130. The decision of majority is applied to the synchronizing/ asynchronizing signals acquired from the PLL 100 for each radio part. Then the oscillator is switched in a reference signal generating part with the fault detection signal of the reference signal used as a trigger.
