Abstract:

PURPOSE: To maneuver a miniaturized hang glider model and to enable the hang glider to fly by attaching a gravitational center shifting member for longitudinally and laterally shifting the gravitational center of the hang glider under radio-control, to the body of the hang glider model.
CONSTITUTION: A pilot model has a horizontal plate 53, and a servos 54, 64 attached to the horizontal plate 53, the servo 54 alternately drawing up wires 61a, 61b stretched from the left and right positions of the body of a hang glider model through the intermediary of a pulley 55 attached to a servo horn 54a, and the servo 64 alternately drawing wires 69a and 69b stretched from the front and rear positions of the body of the model, through the intermediary of a pulley 66 attached to the front part of a servo horn 64a. Thus, the pilot model as a gravitational center shifting member, is attached to the body of the hang glider model, and the arms of the pilot model and the pulleys for drawing the left and right, and front and left wires are radio-controlled so as to move the gravitational center of the model, thereby it is possible to maneuver the hang glider model.
