To provide a radio data communication equipment and its method capable of simply executing communication in a moved place and charging a communicator himself (or herself) and having high security.

The communication equipment is provided with an interface 1-1 to be connected to a data terminal, a radio communication means 1-2 to be connected to a communication network by radio waves or infrared rays and a means 1-4 for storing authentication information for certifying a user. Prior to communication, an object to be charged and a communicator are certified based upon the authentication information and then communication is executed. When a third person borrowing a data terminal in a moved place and executes communication, the communicator himself (or herself) can be charged.
