Abstract:

To provide a means and method for radio frequency power measurement, capable of measuring both of a narrowband signal and a broadband signal.

This radio frequency power meter has: a first switch 102 supplying an output signal from one of a first signal and a second signal that are each a measurement target such that the output signal can be switched; first and second signal processing paths 100, 200 similar to each other, respectively supplying first and second comparison signals with first and second bandwidths; a second switch 114 supplying the second signal to the first switch from one of the first and second comparison signals such that the second signal can be switched, and completing a closed loop for the radio frequency power meter; and an output block 116 supplying information showing power of the measurement target by use of one of respective integrated signals generated by the first and second signal processing paths.
