Title:
RADIO-FREQUENCY TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER AND ITS OPERATING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05300048
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of a self-standing still trouble in a transmitter-receiver by offsetting frequencies generated in the transmitter and receiver of the transmitter-receiver. CONSTITUTION: A radio-frequency transmitter-receiver 300 incorporates a local oscillator 303 which generates at least two kinds of local oscillate signals at different time. Each local oscillate signal has its own frequency. During a first period, the transmitter-receiver 300 receives a certain radio-frequency signal. A first radio-frequency signal is combined with one of the local oscillate signals and forms an intermediate-frequency signal 311. During a second period, the transmitter-receiver 300 generates a frequency offset signal 313. The signal 313 is combined with the second local oscillating signal and forms a second radio-frequency signal. Since the signals 311 and 313 have different frequencies, the occurrence of the self-standing still trouble which occurs in the TDD(time division duplex) communication system can be eliminated.
