PURPOSE: To always select the channel having a good receiving condition in case when several broadcast waves having the same contents such as the radio short- wave broadcasting are received, by providing the manual one-touch channel selection function plus the automatic channel selection function.

CONSTITUTION: The automatic channel selection mode is secured with the power supply on, and the desired 1st signal is received. In this case, the next broadcast having a good receiving condition such as the 2nd broadcast is selected automatically when the field intensity becomes less than the reference level. And with push of the switch SW1 when the 1st broadcast display element D1 is turned on, the reception frequency of the 1st broadcast can be switched by one touch. And when the 2nd broadcast is desired, the switch SW2 is pushed. Then the one-touch manual channel selection function plus the automatic channel selection function are provided to always ensure a selection for the channel having a good receiving condition.
