Title:
RADIO SELECTIVE CALLING RECEIVER WITH TOUCH PANEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2693938
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in reception sensitivity and signal quality due to noise caused at detection of touch panel position and to save a mount space and power consumption.
SOLUTION: A touch panel 1 arranged on a liquid crystal display panel 2 is controlled by a touch panel control section 8 to provide an output of a voltage depending on a touch position. A changeover section 4(6) is provided to an input (output) side of an A/D converter 5 and switched interlockingly, then the A/D converter 5 is used in common for selective calling signal and touch position detection. A touch position detection section 7 based on a digital output voltage outputs information representing a touch position to a signal processing control section 9. The signal processing control section 9 switches contacts of the changeover sections 4, 6 at pre-determined specific periods till prescribed touch position information is received or a selective calling signal addressed to its own equipment. When the changeover section 4 selects a reception section 3, the operation stop of the touch panel 1 is commanded to the touch panel control section 8.
