Title:
RADIO SELECTIVE CALLING RECEIVER WITH INFRARED RAY DATA TRANSMISSION FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2755207
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration in the reception sensitivity under noise produced at the transmission of an infrared ray by avoiding the reception by a radio section and an external transmission operating timing of infrared ray data are not superposed with each other.
CONSTITUTION: In order to avoid simultaneous operation between a radio section 2 and an infrared ray I/F transmission section 20, a switch 24 is closed when a radio section operation control signal 16 from a decoder 8 to the switch 24 is at a high level and power is supplied to a radio section call notice section 7, and the switch 24 is open when the control signal 16 is at a low level, power is interrupted to stop the radio section 2. That is, the power supply of the radio section 2 is controlled by the decoder 8 and the undesired operation of the radio section 2 is not conducted. While the power supply of the radio section 2 is interrupted by the decoder 8, infrared ray data are sent externally. When an infrared ray data transmission control signal 17 from the decoder 8 to a CPU 10 is at a high level, the infrared ray transmission is permitted and when the control signal 17 is at a low level, the infrared ray transmission is stopped and data transmission/stop to the transmission section 20 is controlled.
