To enhance radio wave absorbing characteristics by providing a part for fixing a resistive layer and a reflective layer thereby keeping an accurate distance between them.
The radio wave absorber has a member C for fixing a resistive layer B and a reflective layer A. An insulating material, e.g. resin, glass or mortar, is employed as the material of the member C in view point of radio wave absorption performance and resin is preferred in view point of workability and price. The member C may be shaped arbitrarily and it is preferably shaped such that the resistive layer B and the reflective layer A do not move easily after being fixed. Since an accurate distance can be kept easily between the resistive layer B and the reflective layer A, a radio wave absorber where the radio wave absorption characteristics can be enhanced at a frequency especially requiring absorption of radio wave can be obtained.
