Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave axis regulator for an on-vehicle radar apparatus for regulating precisely a radio wave to a target axis.
SOLUTION: This regulator has a transceiving means having the radio wave axis and for transceiving a radio wave, a radio wave reflecting means located on a null axis rotated from the target axis by a null angle found based on a radiation pattern of the transceiving means measured preliminarily, and arranged with a prescribed distance from a vehicle body to reflect the radio wave, an electric field intensity measuring means for measuring an electric field intensity of a reflected wave transmitted from the transceiving means and reflected by the radio wave reflecting means, and a radio wave axis regulating means for controlling the radio wave axis to conform the radio wave axis with the target axis, based on the electric field intensity.
