To provide a security system which has a wire lock used in construction sites, warehouses, bicycles, motorcycles, and automatic dispensers and which can persuade a thief to abandon theft by emitting alarm when the wire of the wire lock is cut off and inform the administrator of the breakage of the wire.

The security system includes the wire lock having an electronic circuit for detecting the breakage of the wire by carrying a current therethrough and a radio communication function, a remote alarm device having a radio communication function and an alarm function, and a control device having a radio communication function and an external communication function for transmitting an electronic mail by connecting to an electric communication line. The wire lock in which the wire is cut off notifies, by radio, the remote alarm device and the control device of the cut information. The alarm device which receives the notification threatens a criminal person by alarming sound and reports the abnormality therearound. The control device which receives the notification transmits the cut information to the administrator by electric mail through the electric communication line.
