Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method of a radioactive material and a decontamination system thereof capable of not only decontaminating contaminated forests and hills (including copses) but continuously preventing the radioactive material from transferring from its area to residential areas and fields.SOLUTION: A decontamination method of the present invention has processes of: directly spraying inorganic particles adsorbing a radioactive material to at least any of forests and village vicinity mountains contaminated by the radioactive material; applying or spraying and infusing fluid dispersion or suspension containing the inorganic particles; providing a buffer zone containing a coagulant for agglutinating the inorganic particles on the boundary of at least any of the forests and village vicinity mountains and a residential area or fields; agglutinating the inorganic particles flown in the buffer zone by rainwater, or artificial flowing water and a fountain from at least any of the forests and the village vicinity mountains by the coagulant; and separating and recovering the agglutinated inorganic particles with the coagulant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
