Title:
RADIOGRAPH INFORMATION READER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07234464
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent stimulated luminous light generated in such a manner that stimulating light is scattered/reflected in a casing and a stimulable phosphor SP is stimulated with the reflected and scattered light from being superimposed on a signal to be originally read as a noise and the generation of the stimulated luminous light caused by the fact that the stimulating light is scattered/reflected and the stimulable phosphor is stimulated with the scattered and reflected light, before an image is read and the quantity of the stimulated luminous light generated by the stimulating in a time to originally read from being made different from the original quantity.

CONSTITUTION: This radiograph information reader irradiating the stimulable phosphor SP in which radiograph information is recorded by deflecting the stimulating light with a rotary polygon mirror 6 for main scanning, relatively moving the stimulable phosphor SP in a direction nearly orthogonally crossing the main scanning, for subscanning and detecting the stimulated luminous light emitted from the stimulable phosphor SP, to read image information is constituted so that the light intensity of the stimulating light in a nonreading section is weaker than that in a reading section.
