Abstract:
To provide a rail breakage detection device capable of detecting rail breakage from a vehicle side.SOLUTION: A rail breakage detection device detects rail breakage from a vehicle side. The rail breakage detection device includes an acceleration sensor 3 mounted on a vehicle 1, a data recorder 4 for recording acceleration data measured by the acceleration sensor, a high frequency determination unit for performing first determination according to a result obtained by applying high frequency band-pass filter processing to the acceleration data, a low frequency determination unit for performing second determination according to a result obtained by applying low frequency band-pass filter processing to the acceleration data, and a breakage determination unit for determining the presence of a rail breakage portion 21 based on the first and second determination results.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
