Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a rail fastening device which has a simple structure, and can enlarge the quantity of a gage adjustment carried out through a rail pressing tool, and can prevent slipping out being due to vibration resulting from a train load or the like, and has excellent reliability in insulation.
CONSTITUTION: A rail pressing tool 4 having an inclined guide groove in a reverse direction to a recessed stripe groove and a slot-shaped bolt hole 4d parallel to the recessed stripe groove on an upper face is slidably fitted in the recessed stripe groove being inclined along the longitudinal direction of a rail 2 provided on a concrete cross tie 1. A plate spring 5 having a bolt hole 5a is fitted in the inclined guide groove of the rail pressing tool 4, and a rail fastening bolt 6 is inserted through each of bolt holes in the plate spring 5 and the rail pressing tool 4 for firmly fastening it.
