Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle capable of reducing production cost for a side body by constructing the side body as one block while suppressing deformation of the side body due to airtight load.SOLUTION: A railway vehicle comprises a waist part of a side body consisting of hollow extrusion material(360) comprising: a first surface plate at outside of the vehicle (31a); a second surface plate at inside of the vehicle (31b); a plurality of first ribs (31c) jointing the first surface plate and the second surface plate; a third surface plate (31d) arranged inside of the vehicle rather than the second surface plate; and a plurality of second ribs (31e) jointing the second surface plate and the third surface plate. The hollow extrusion material is formed by extrusion molding along with a longitudinal direction of the railway vehicle. A waist part of the side body has a feature for avoiding interference of a sliding door and a body by cut off of the third surface plate and the second ribs from a movable area of the sliding door (60).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
