To provide a railway vehicle which has slide doors to accomplish barrier-freeing.SOLUTION: In a railway vehicle which has slide doors 110 installed in a passage opening part formed in a gable part of the vehicle and hung from a support rail arranged on the passage opening part, the slide doors 110 have an opening structure with a left slide door 110a and a right slide door 110b, each movable in opposite directions, the left slide door 110a and the right slide door 110b are connected at their upper parts by a wire rope, a guide pin, that is, a door guide member is provided under the left slide door 110a and the right slide door 110b and when either one of the left slide door 110a or the right slide door 110b opens, the other slide door (the right slide door 110b or the left slide door 110a) opens, interlocking with the one.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
