Abstract:
To provide a rainfall measurement device capable of accurately measuring rainfall compared with a technique for measuring rainfall by using a conventional rainfall sensor in a vehicle.SOLUTION: A rainfall measurement device includes: a receiving unit 101 for receiving a start instruction for instructing start of measurement of rainfall; a sensor information acquisition unit 103 for acquiring sensor information on pressure measured by a pressure sensor 22 that is provided in measuring cups 21, 21a and measures pressure of water accumulated in measuring cups 21, 21a at a time point when an observation time has elapsed after the receiving unit 101 receives the start instruction, the measuring cups having water inlet provided at an upper section in a state of being mounted on a vehicle 3 open relative to an outside of the vehicle 3; and rainfall calculation units 104, 104a for calculating rainfall around the vehicle 3 based on the sensor information acquired by the sensor information acquisition unit 103.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
