Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ramp for a magnetic disk device which has a good surface resistance value not to give rise to problem of the electrostatic discharge failure of a magnetic head and magnetic disk and has excellent slidability with a suspension as well.
SOLUTION: The ramp 17 for the magnetic disk device is formed by molding a conductive thermoplastic resin composition containing 0.1 to 20 wt.% fine carbon fibers of ≤300 nm in average fiber diameter and ≥10 in length/diameter ratio.
