Abstract:
To provide a range hood that performs bacteria elimination and deodorization in a lower place than the range hood without causing a user to feel discomfort.SOLUTION: A range hood D exhausts air. The range hood D comprises an exhaust fan 9 for guiding the air from a suction port 4 to an exhaust port 3, a hypochlorous acid discharge unit 5 for discharging hypochlorous acid toward a lower place, and a control unit 6 for controlling the exhaust fan 9 and the hypochlorous acid discharge part 5. The control unit 6 comprises a cooking determination unit 11 for determining cooking completion in the lower place. After the cooking completion is determined by the cooking determination unit 11, the hypochlorous acid is discharged by the hypochlorous acid discharge unit 5.
