To provide a range hood device in which the posture of a hood body can be surely adjusted with an adjust screw provided on the back of the hood body without a tip of the adjust screw entering a wall surface.
The range hood device includes: the thin hood body 1; a blower box 2 provided on the top of the hood body 1 and having a centrifugal blower 3 inside; and a hanger 4 that fixes an upper part of the blower box 2 on the wall surface 5. A screw hole penetrating through the hood body 1 is provided on a back lower part of the hood body 1, the adjust screw 12 is provided from the inside of the hood body 1 so that the projection length from the back face of the hood body 1 can be adjusted, an impingement plate 13 is provided between the adjust screw 12 tip and the wall surface 5 to avoid the direct contact of the adjust screw 12 tip and the wall surface 5, and part of the impingement plate 13 corresponding to the adjust screw tip 12 is a curved surface.
