Title:
RAPID MEASUREMENT OF GLYCATED HEMOGLOBIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3400991
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid continuous test for glycated hemoglobin which uses nonequilibrium affinity bonding method.
SOLUTION: Agarose bease which was derivated by 3-aminophenyleboronic acid combines specifically glycohemoglobin. The solid phase is built in a sample processing card to mix and the solution is separated from the solid phase. Absorbance measurement is done twice for each test solution; one immediately after mixing a test reagent or a diluent with the sample and the other after occurring of the large scale of binding. The straightline correlation between all glycohemoglobin and hemoglobin A1C makes it possible to normalize and record a unit corresponding to the % hemoglobin A1C. Method for making a stable hemoglobin solution for use as the normalization and also the normalization itself is installed.
