Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a rapier band, capable of preventing the fracture, abrasion, bending and breakage of a laminated structure even if a loom is accelerated by arranging plural engaging holes with driving teeth of a sprocket in the width direction.
CONSTITUTION: This rapier band is obtained by arranging plural engaging holes 11 with driving teeth of a sprocket in the width direction of the rapier band 1. Thereby, the engaging load is dispersed in the unit area and the engaging load borne with one engaging hole is reduced to improve the mechanical durability of the rapier band.
