PURPOSE: To improve corrosion resistance and functionalize a manufacturing process, by coating the surface of magnetic metal powder containing 50% or more iron with polyphenol modified epoxy resin and other synthetic resin, and molding an object by using the synthetic resin as binding agent.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of magnetic metal powder containing 50% or more iron is coated with polyphenol modified epoxy resin or polyphenol modified epoxy resin and other synthetic resin. As binder, polyphenol modified epoxy resin or polyphenol modified epoxy resin and other synthetic resin are used, or a coating film of polyphenol modified epoxy resin or polyphenol modified epoxy resin and other synthetic resin is formed on a molded object. By using one of the above means or combinedly using the two or more means, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance can be improved. By using the same compound as magnetic powder coating agent, binding agent, and surface coating agent for a molded object, the manufacturing process can be functionalized.
