Abstract:
To provide a rare earth-based oxide superconductive multi-core wire rod that has reduced resistance between rare earth-based oxide superconductive layers, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The rare earth-based oxide superconductive multi-core wire rod of the present invention includes a multi-core structure in which a tape core material having a copper-containing layer imparted on both sides and including a metal substrate and a rare earth-based oxide superconductive layer positioned on the metal substrate is laminated via a solder base material, and a stabilization material covering the multi-core structure. The method for producing the multi-core wire rod of the present invention includes bundling a plurality of the tape core materials and immersing in molten solder, passing the plurality of bundled tape core materials through a jig having hole to produce a multi-core structure, and covering the multi-core structure with a stabilization material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
