To make it possible to maintain flexibility at low temperature while improving strength and wear resistance by constituting a ratchet belt from a saw tooth-like portion consisting of material having excellent wear resistance and a belt main body portion consisting of material having excellent flexibility.
The ratchet belt main body portion 9 and the saw tooth-like portion 10 to be engaged with the ratchet buckle of the ratchet belt 5 used as a binder for sporting goods, such as ski or snow boards, are respectively composed of the separate materials. Namely, for example, a polyurethane elastomer having the excellent flexibility even at low temperature is used for the belt main body portion 9 and nylon of the high wear resistance is used for the saw tooth-like portion 10. The belt main body portion 9 and saw tooth-like portion 10 are bonded to each other by bonding, insert molding, welding, etc. The belt main body portion 9 and saw tooth-like portion 10 are formed of the materials and colors varying from each other, by which the degree of freedom in design may be enhanced.
