Title:
AIR/FUEL RATIO CONTROL OF INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6198938
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of fuel consumption or emission in a system where to volume of fuel to be injected from the start of engine is incremented by predetermined amount upon exceeding of fuel temperature over predetermined level, by reducing the incremental fuel with correspondence to rising of engine rotation.

CONSTITUTION: Under engine operation, an electronic control circuit 20 will first detect fully closed condition of throttle valve 10 on the basis of the output from a throttle opening sensor 11 to decide whether predetermined time has elapsed after turning off of starter motor 22 on the condition that the water temperature detected through water temperature sensor 9 is higher than predetermined level (approximately 85°C) and the intake air temperature detected through an intake air temperature sensor 8 is higher than predetermined level (approximately 75°C). Upon decision of NO, the incremental correction factor of fuel injection is set to predetermined value on the condition that the engine rotation is lower than 650rpm and feedback control of fuel injection has not started. If any one condition is not satisfied, said incremental correction factor is decreased upon elapse of predetermined time.
