To provide a paper-made container with excellent heat insulating properties which can make sufficient expanding properties available without increasing the basis weight of paper.
This raw material sheet used for a heat insulating paper-made container has a thermoplastic resin layer formed on at least one side of a paper base material. The paper base material contains a polyacrylate of not less than 0.005 g/m2 and not more than 0.05 g/m2. A method for impregnating the polyacrylate into the paper base material is preferably to apply the polyacrylate externally. The binder used for the external addition is one kind or a plurality of kinds selected from a group composed of starch, oxidized starch, treated starch, carboxymethylcellulose, polyacrylamide and polyvinyl alcohol.
