To solve the problems wherein a soft processed food for a person having a reduced chewing function such as an elderly person has the shape of a sphere, a soya bean, a plate or the like which is largely different from the external shape of an original food cooked by using an actual food material, and hardly has the shape improving the appetite of the eating person.
The processed food is obtained by cutting and kneading one of foods such as fish and shellfish, meat and vegetables and fruits, forming two or more food materials by distributing parts thereof, molding the food materials divided to two or more by inserting the materials in molding frames, or subjecting the food materials to coloring processing by food dyes, combining the food materials to reproduce the appearance and shape of the actual processed food obtained by cutting the fish and shellfish, the meat or the vegetables and fruits to small pieces, and cooking them as they are, and processing the combined food materials softly so that the person having the reduced or insufficient gorging and chewing function can eat them easily.
