Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve cascade efficiency by forming a hole penetrating a shroud on the adjoining mating face of the shroud of a cascade of blades. CONSTITUTION:A hole 6 penetrating a shroud 3 is formed on the adjoining mating face of the integrated shroud 3 provided at the tip of a reaction blade 1. One opening 6a of the hole 6 is provided on the gap side between the shroud 3 and a casing 4 at the upstream side of the shroud 3, and the other opening 6b is provided on the blade 1 side at the downstream side of the shroud 3. Accordingly, the growth of a boundary layer on the downstream side of the shroud inner face is suppressed and cascade efficiency can be increased.
