Title:
REACTION OF NUCLEIC ACID HYBRIDIZATION UTILIZING ULTRASONIC WAVE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3959652
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of the subject reaction such as clinical tests, food tests or environmental tests by reacting an RNA or a DNA with a nucleic acid having a sequence complementary thereto while applying ultrasonic waves with a modulated amplitude thereto.
SOLUTION: An RNA or a DNA is reacted with a nucleic acid having a sequence complementary thereto while applying ultrasonic waves which are pulsating and amplitude modulated ones, having a modulated amplitude at 20-40kHz and generated according to an amplitude modulating method for pulsatingly changing the applied voltage of an ultrasonic vibrator with time at 50 or 60 cycles/sec thereto with 1-10W electric power for 2-10min and the produced reactional product is then measured to thereby improve the efficiency in a nucleic acid hybridization reaction utilizable within a wide range of industrial fields such as clinical tests, food tests and environmental tests and detect the nucleic acid in a sample.
