To improve the preservation stability of reactive polysiloxane represented by formula (1) having a reactive functional group and soluble in a solvent, since a known condensate of a silicon compound having a reactive group and soluble in a solvent has such problems that, it is insolubilized with time while preserving the condensate and a polymer is precipitated from a solution or is gelatinized.
The precipitation or gelation of a polymer has been known to easily occur when an alcohol-based solvent was used as a solvent in the conventional silicon compound condensate, whereas it is found that, in the reactive polysiloxane represented by formula (1), the case in which the reactive polysiloxane is preserved as a solution of a solvent containing an alcohol-based solvent, is superior in stability to the case in which it is preserved as a solid and to the case in which it is a solution of a solvent containing no alcohol-based solvent, and the invention is thus accomplished.
