Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a reactor core physical test equipment using a digital reactivity computer system constituted in such a manner that an analog signal is converted into a digital signal by an easily operable personal computer to perform a required test on the basis of a prescribed program in order to confirm the safety of reactor core design and operation, and further analyze the test result.

CONSTITUTION: A/D and D/A converter boards are built in a personal computer 6 to form a digital signal from the analog signal of the intensity of neutron and the average temperature of coolant, starting modules 1, 2, core physical test preparation and execution modules 3, 4, and a physical test data analysis module 5 are connected to the personal computer 6 to receive the digital signal, and 2-5 auxiliary modules are connected in subordinate positions according to the kind of test.
