Abstract:
To provide a reactor for producing cuprous chloride which stably and efficiently produces molten both of cuprous chloride for long time.
This reactor 1 for producing cuprous chloride has a means for charging or introducing copper as a starting material and chlorine gas for chlorinating the same and is constituted in such a manner that at least the inner wall of reactor body 10 of the reactor 1 is made of ceramics consisting essentially of SiC. Therein, a cooling jacket device (cooling device) 11 which covers the bottom surface and the outer periphery of the reactor body 10 and cools the reactor body 10 is preferably disposed.
