PURPOSE: To classify and identify easily and exactly the prostate cancer from urine and tissue slice by using a reagent contg. the antibody (marked antibody) secreted from the hybridoma (syncytium) of antihuman prostate cancer antibody producing cells and cells which can be subcultured in vitro for a long period of time.
CONSTITUTION: The antibody producing cells for a human prostate cancer cell strain 8PC93 are obtd. from the pulpar cells obtd. by immunizing a mouse, etc. with 8PC93. The syncytium of such cells and the myeloma cells, etc. that can be subcultured for a long period of time is obtd. and the antibody secreted from the syncytium is marked with a radioactive material, fluorescent dye, enzyme, etc. The antibody or marked antibody and the urine or tissue slice of a person to be examined are brought into reaction and the activity in marking or the like of the conjugate with the prostate cancer cells is measured. The identification and classification of the prostate cancer cells are thus specifically made possible with high accuracy and the discrimination from the other cancer and tumor is quickly performed.
