Abstract:

To provide efavirenz derivatives and a method for producing them, since a simple and quick method of analysis for measuring the efavirenz level in plasma and effective for an HIV treatment is required, and although the immunoassay technique is suitable for such an analysis application, it is indispensable to have a highly specific antibody against the efavirenz for such the immunoassay technology.

The efavirenz derivatives include an immunogenic compound for producing the antibody against the efavirenz and a labeled efavirenz tracer. These compounds are useful for the immunoenzyme assay for measuring the efavirenz.
