Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the reaction operation and obtain a reagent for sensing urea having no complicatedness of preparing the reagent in use, by stabilizing urease in a reaction solution with the combined use of stabilizers.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of polyvinyl alcohol with N-acetylcysteine and an ethylenediaminetetraacetate, is used as a stabilizer for urease contained in a reagent for sensing urea.
