PURPOSE: To provide a manipulator which performs an orbit teaching as following the orbit at a real time so as to keep a constant distance with the motion of a light emitter attached to the tip of an indicator rod.
CONSTITUTION: This system consists of a teaching indicator device composed of a, indicator rod 5, a laser oscillator 3 installed at a tip of this rod and a light receiver 4, a reflector 24 installed in a terminal part of a manipulator 1, a laser range measuring device 6 for having an interval between the tip of the indicator rod 5 and the terminal part of the manipulator 1 followed at a constant distance on the basis of output of the light receiver 4, a controlling computer 8 and a control unit inclusive of a controlling driver 7.
