Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping device for a combine harvester high in stability of taking over and transportation performance and having improved operation efficiency by moving a wheel body in the front and the rear direction so as to maintain a grain culm taking over position from a pretreating device constant.
SOLUTION: A pretreating device at the front of a reaping part is slid right and left. A longitudinally transporting device and an ear tip transporting device 43 for sending grain culms taken over from the pretrating device toward a threshing part are linked to the right and left sliding of the pretreating device and rotated right and left around a rear longitudinal shaft. Further, this reaping device of a combine harvester is equipped with a position adjusting mechanism of a wheel body 70 for winding a tine chain 43a attached to the front end of the ear tip transporting device 43. The adjusting mechanism moves the wheel body 70 in the front and rear direction by the right and left sliding action of the pretreating device so as to maintain a grain culm taking over position from the pretreating device constant. The front and the rear movement of the wheel body 70 by the position adjusting mechanism is followed by change in right and left position in the direction opposite to the sliding direction of the pretreating device.
